My mom was visiting here for a few weeks and did her magic – played with the kids, drew princesses, cars, read books and swam with Kyle and Zoe every day- and the best part, something I can’t cooked, babysat and Best of all, she sued the sewing machine that has been in my hallroom closet pretty much untouched since the days it was about three years ago and made dresses for Zoe, and then she made a cape for Kyle, and then she made dresses for Zoe’s Bunny (to be shown soon)and outfit for Teddy, and jeans for me, a dress for Emily she fixed the drapes and then she left….we miss her!
What she didn’t make was mask- so we had th idea of using the same fabric as the cape, then we had the brilliant idea of just cutting it to shape, with no need to sew…why sew? and THEN Kyle had the light bulb idea to just staple the elastic to the mask- yay! so the machine was not even used at all- so, me, my scissors and my stapler are ready for Project Runway! Kyle only agreed to be photographed so I could send a photo to Granny Leonie- So Granny- this one’s for you!
