for 2 days we walk as ONE

SO over the weekend of July 11-12 San Francisco got to experience the Avon walk and vice-versa- my job was actually to assist Michael Segal in shooting photos at the event, and it was a great experience – I couldn’t stop thinking of my mom who’s a breast cancer survivor, and of all the women who had not survived, and the lives that are forever changed because of this disease. The women (and men) who walked in San-Francisco had raised 6 million dollars, for this walk alone. 6 million dollars. Suze Ormond was a guest speaker, and I go to see places in SF that I hadn’t seen before. I wasn’t taking photos there, but I did get one on break, and I did get to wear a press badge. Yoo hoo.
