Growing up, the name Shani, (My name…) wasn’t that well known, people hearing it for the first time needed to ask me again, sometimes twice, till they understood it. AAAH, SH-A-N-I, what a beautiful name… but by then I was probably so embarrassed, blushing and wanting to run away, I didn’t enjoy the beauty in it, and wanted a regular name like Michelle, or Laura, or Jenie? (which can also, apparently be spelled in Oh so many ways…) so I know they’re not using these cups right now, so you know this one’s form way back…but hey. I was Jenie for a moment there and I loved it.
