Just kidding what?

Photography. It's not about smiling children on a gradient backdrop. It's your kids (your teens, your family, yourselves, your pets) doing what you do when you're happy, and capturing that as a tangible memory.
I'm Shani, and I'd love to take your picture. Seriously.

wake up and smell the chocolate chips!

Tuesday

One day, while picking up my kids from school, they were busy making pancakes, they had the mix in a corner of one of the classrooms; the teacher sitting on a small kiddie chair, her knees reaching her chin, and on the shelf nexto her, was a warm plate on which they were frying about 2 pancakes an hour- it was so slow, you could see the drool marks on the kids’ shirts…

It was a surreal scene, as they all patiently (PATIENTLY!!!) waited their turn to make their own little pancake…but what really caught my eye were those tiny little chocolate chips they putting in the pancakes- what a brilliant idea I thought…2 years later, we have raised the average consumption of chocolate chips in the united states by 50%!!! A couple of weeks ago I made the 4 chip rule to the pancake because it was getting to be a chocolate chip cake held together by pancake mix.

Trader Joe's Semi Sweet

I am holding the milk in one hand, and camera in the other. I did spill some on the floor.

The secret to yummy pancakes

4 chocolate chips to a pancake

Double the cakes, double the YUM!
