I had so been looking forward to Paul and Laraine’s wedding – I knew they were putting a lot of time and effort and love, SWEET love into their special day. From the moment I stepped into the spacious hotel suite overlooking the marina, I knew we’d have a great time. Did you see the sneak peek I stayed up all night for?) The beautiful intricate Monique Lhuillier dress was already hanging at the window, alongside her laced fitted dress for later in the evening. ( With the Jimmy Choo sandals to complement them both) It was a hectic morning in the room, and the buzz was felt in the air, excitement, energy, love and beauty mixed together for the perfect cocktail of detailed photos…Meanwhile, on the other side of the harbor, Paul was getting ready at the “oh, I so want to shoot there” Viceroy Hotel, where the adorable Linda Ko was second shooting and finding out how goofy Paul was. ( looking at the images she shot, I too found out how goofy Paul really was…you might not get to see that side of him, unless you were there…) The ceremony was held at the absolutely gorgeous church of St. Monica, who knew they even built them this way right in the heart of Santa Monica? Obviously, Paul and Laraine did. The reception was held at The Marriott in Marina delRey, so it was a great location to stop at the beach and get a few shots there too…Thank you so much for being so into “let’s try something fun on the beach” or “can we do one more photos just the to of you…” It was such a fun wedding- thank you Paul and Laraine for being so sweet throughout the whole day, and being such a beautiful sweet (toothed) couple. Amongst the fabulous people who made this wedding day so special and lovely to be part of were the jadore-florist, Michele Candido and jaimee from partyontheedge.com, and of course- Cynthia. I wish you all, all the best! Congratulations on a wonderful new beginning of a life together.
