Today is a beautiful date – and since kids went back to school after three weeks at home ( and solidified for eternity that I am not fit to be a homeschooling mother – so I will not be one) I am declaring 01-11 to be the first day of 2011, for me. My desk is clean (everything I need to take care of is hidden away in a box) The House is spotless (it is every other Tuesday today – what a wonderful way to start this adventure) and I am back at Yoga! breathe in- because this is it!!!!
Yesterday, when we were walking to school (hip hip HIP hooray) I noticed that winter had made an appearance- there was frost on the grass!!! As they say – he neighbor’s grass was even whiter! It was SO white my kids thought it was snow…it wasn’t! But it was cold – as cold as it can get here on a sunny winter day (“look, we’re smoking!!!!”) Obviously, by the time I picked them up from school they were in their short sleeved T- shirts, hooded sweaters cramped at the bottom of the back pack, under the homework and over spilled fruit loops…
So that moment of coldness, and the smell of freedom, inspired me to post these images of the lovely- crazy- adorable- wild sisters – you may remember them from last Winter (yes, it was “cold” then too) – so with all that said- I have my new years resolution’s set – and the count starts now! Happy New Year!
