A Home Birthday

I know it’s been a long time since I blogged… Ohhh, sound like a confession… and I have a list of excuses ( I just explained to my kids what excuses are… I think they’re getting the hang of it, and they have many good one… I’m hungry, I’m too tired are the favorites…. time will get them more creative I am sure…) My excuses are – Muy mother in law’ s passing, spring break, and Passover. And the rain. It is raining SO HARD right now….and its surprising really, as it is mid April and we officially welcomed Spring over three weeks ago! And f I didn’t have to go anywhere today I really wouldn’t mind, but this afternoon I have to be a long way aways….

But back to my lack of blogging – I have been busy, I have been reading. Since my Valentine’s resolution to not watch TV during the week, I had no choice but to read….so I have been reading trilogies….The Girl wIth The Dragon Tattoo….The Hunger Games… and… if you’re a mom, you know what I am reading now, and if you’re not, I am not telling…

I have also had two wonderful opportunities to attend a couple of lectures/meet the artist this week – I am so inspired and excited! Lauren Greenfield and Julie Brockman are 2 women artist photographers who I admire, look up to and hope to learn from ….please – click on the links – they are amazing ( I wish I could write more about them, but really, their work is more than I can put into words….)

Anyways, I was going through some photos and found Zoe’s birthday photos that I never got around to blogging, and since she is already beyond the point of 6 and 3/4 and getting closer to sevem I hurried up and got some here before the next one!
