A Family Portrait

The shoes make the man

I Love San Francisco, despite the cold, the wind and the hills and the fact that’s it a 6 hour drive from LA….

A couple of weeks ago, I gave myself a Mother’s Day gift- A weekend away from the kids!!!! Just kidding…I did spend  a coupleof days in SF, and had a fabulous time.

I drove up with my best  friend, we chatted, we sang, we laughed, we tried to find a  Jamba Juice and settled for a Frappuccino, and  we arrived just in time for Mojitos and a fabulous Dinner party that included food that I cannot describe and that I did take pictures of that will be posted in later posts, soon, hopefully.  Saturday was a full day of shooting, it was like going back to school, I photographed the family, the house, the dog, the neighborhood cafe, he sandwich I ate, the breakfast that was baked ( not by me..yay) and ended a fabulous day at the beach. San Francisco is such a beauttiful and interesting city, with some of the best food I have esten (yes the weekend was food themed, and I had a lot of it. I am still trying to get rid of some of it) and even though I had been there many times before, I got to see completely new places, including this amazing indoor rock climbing place that overlooks the ocean, so you ALMOST feel you’re outside… and yes,I was convinced to try it, and even though my butt looked big in the harness, it was so much fun, I might have to do it again!

Thank you to everyone who made this weekend happen- Julie, Keren, and of course, my husband.

BTW- I want to be in New York, in July, any time between the 7th and 20th- do you know someone who wants their photo taken? with great food, yummy drinks, and a long day of shooting, everything and everywhere – and since it’s late at night, as usual, and since it’s been two weeks since my last confession, I will go straight to the photos. Enjoy!
