It’s a must, right? You have a sailor, and a beautiful girl? You have to get this photo- especially if the girl is also a “pin up” model who dresses in her real daily life in the style that varies from 50’s to 60’s and rocks that look! So yes, this is a true story, of a sailor on shore meeting a young girl at a bar and they live happily ever after in this Loveland tale. When we talked about where would we shoot the engagement shoot, Ben shyly suggested the Queen Mary in Long Beach, where they were to get married (and did, but first things first) and so we did… and boy am I am happy we did. Now I knew sips were big, and I thought I had seen the Queen Mary when I had taken the kids to the aquarium next door …but nothing prepared me for the magnitude of the vessel when I drove up in the parking lot and it hit me…this boat is HUGE! and beautiful…how had I NOT visited it until now? How have I not brought my kids yet? We started off in the lower deck trying our moves and smiles, and then Ben changed into his dress uniforms and everything came to life! We had so much fun – Ben and Shelby were awesome, fun, beautiful, cooperative, and literally en to anything. Luckily at some point they got hungry, and after a small snack the sun was ready to et, or else we’d still be on deck shooting photos….This was such an amazing collaboration and I thank Christa Meola for sending them my way!
